Rangoli Art

As we were studying diversity and geometry we decided to combine the two.  Looking at Rangoli art from Indian culture we noticed most of them were symmetrical (the same on at least two sides).

Using a template that we created ourselves by folding paper into quarters and then cutting out, we used bright pastels to complete our own pattern onto black paper.

Those Rangoli patterns have been backed onto MORE bright colour that we chose, and added to our walls - come in and see them!
